Key Job Responsibilities
1. Incoming, In-Process & Final Quality Inspection
Perform incoming material inspections for compliance & defined quality standards.
Practice in-process checks across manufacturing operations for process adherence.
Conduct machine trials, FAT as per Job Order, URS, drawings & approved specs.
Monitor & record deviations in dimensional data and manufacturing process parameters.
Develop understanding of product & process requirements from a customer perspective.
Ensure traceability, compliance, and readiness before dispatch.
Support improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Participate in automation projects to enhance product quality parameters.
Develop quality minded-ness across supervisors & operators, defining roles towards quality.
2. Rejection Handling, Root Cause Analysis & CAPA
Identify non-conforming materials and processes, issue Rejection Reports.
Conduct rejection analysis based on rejection reports and corrective actions.
Analyze customer complaints related to product quality.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA.
Define and monitor CAPA and track quality trends to prevent recurrence.
Ensure timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions.
3. Vendor Quality Assurance & Development
Conduct vendor inspections & evaluations, ensure compliance with approved drawings.
Support vendor qualification & performance reviews to drive continuous improvement in supply quality & delivery.
4. Quality Planning, Documentation & GMP Compliance
Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), SOPs, inspection records.
Support developing validation documentation (DQ, IQ, OQ) and other documents.
Ensure compliance with QMS, GMP, Audit norms, customer & regulatory requirements.
Support documentation and audit readiness activities.
Learn, implement, and ensure adherence to cGMP and QMS requirements.
Ensure SOP compliance on the shop floor.
5. Material Testing, Validation & Quality Records Management
Coordinate material testing with NABL-approved labs, review test results.
Learn and support Qualification & Validation (Q&V) activities for equipment and systems.
Gain exposure to utilities and water systems impacting product quality.
Maintain key departmental MIS reports.
