Engineer – Design (Process Equipment)

About
Engineering Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in Designing of pharmaceutical process equipment manufacturing organisation. Technically competent at understanding process equipment / vessels, conversant with engineering practices. Proficient knowledge of manufacturing & assembly, Pneumatic & Basic electrical/electronics related to Machine building.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing using computer aided software and detailing using design calculations.
- Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts with tolerances.
- Generate detailed BOM of machine /assemblies with appropriate digital coding.
- Create and maintain a library of standard parts, codes, product models & as-built drawings.
- Driving developments & innovations for customised projects using best engineering principles.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Assembly, QA and Automation/Controls team for successful implementation of customized and development projects.
- Project Management – covering Scope, Time, Cost & Documentation control for project.
- Prepare detailed layouts based on inputs from Sales Person / Designers / Project engineers.
- Associate with manufacturing, assembling team for design improvements & trouble shooting.
- Associate with sales to understand customer requirement and if required, involved in techno-discussion with customer to convert potential enquiries into orders.
- Resolve technical challenges observed during assembly & validation to meet delivery commitments.
- Support aftermarkets and spares for resolution of challenges during installation & commissioning.
- Lead improvement projects like Process Simplification, Cost Optimization, Standardization.
- Should have experience and approach towards Aesthetics, Cost effectiveness, Operator friendliness, safety standards implementation.
