Puneet Gupta is a Board Member at Intertech, where he provides strategic oversight across capital allocation, institutional partnerships, and long-term growth.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Puneet is a second-time founder and systems-focused operator who has built and scaled ventures across defense technology, consumer innovation, and emerging financial infrastructure.
He began his career at Honeywell, working on industrial automation systems, including PLC-driven environments. This experience provided early exposure to mission-critical systems, data-driven decision-making, and high-reliability engineering frameworks. This foundation shaped his core operating philosophy: reducing operational noise, focusing on critical signals, and designing systems that are deterministic, auditable, and scalable.
Over the past decade, he has created cumulative enterprise value exceeding $100 million across multiple ventures, raised over $30 million in debt and equity across India and international markets, and led teams of over 500 people across engineering, operations, and product functions.
At Intertech, Puneet focuses on aligning engineering and manufacturing capabilities with institutional capital and scalable business models. His role includes supporting large-format industrial opportunities, structuring strategic partnerships, and enabling execution at scale.
His thinking is grounded in a core belief that systems typically fail at the decision layer before execution begins. As a result, he places strong emphasis on building infrastructure that enables verified, high-quality outcomes rather than incremental improvements.
Puneet has been recognized with the National Entrepreneurship Award by the Government of India, and his work has received acknowledgment at the highest institutional levels, including technology recognition by the President of India.
As a Board Member, he contributes to shaping Intertech’s evolution into a scalable, institutionally relevant engineering and manufacturing platform.
