The Dental Cartridge Filling & Bunging station is a monoblock machine to do the combined operation of filling, bunging & sealing in a controlled area. The filling is done by means of 2 reciprocating syringes. The rubber bunging is done by orientation of the rubber bungs and a bung-placing unit.
Basic Machine
IET-DCFSM-2H monoblock is an alternate machine which realizes operation of Dental Cartridge filling up in line and placing of rubber stopper/Alluminium caps. Machine construction consists of the following units:
- Main rubber stopping unit composed of a sectioned star-wheel.
- Dosing unit composed of a support where piston syringes are placed.
- Excess (Overflow) liquid suck back system.
- Seal(with bung) placing unit & sealing unit
Unscrambler
Dental cartridges are loaded on infeed hopper. The cartridges are singled out by infeed screw. From this cartridges are transferred on main star wheel for various operations.
Main rubber stoppering unit
Stopper feeding unit composed of a vibrating feed bowl, a feeding chute. Bunging is done by a plunger. Plunger located at the plugging station inserts the bungs in to the bottom of Dental cartridge.
Dosing Unit
Pump cylinder, filling syringes of SS 316L. 2 nos. Filling needle for filling the cartridge. Insertion of glass bid after filling operation.
Overflow/excess liquid suckback system
The excess liquid is suckback from overflow Cartridge to main filling vessel.
Stoppering / sealing Unit
Stoppering / sealing Unit composed of a vibrating feed bowl, a feeding chute and sealing roller. The seal with inserted bungs placed on filled cartridge. The sealing on cartridge done with rotating rollers.
Outfeed
The sealed & bunged cartridges are collected in collection tray.

Electrical interlocks through PLC
Electrical interlocks through PLC start, stop and machine stop in case of faults. All faults displayed touch screen graphics display.
